Blogger was giving me too many <a href=\"http:\/\/publicmind.blogger.com\/enduser\/group.jsp;jsessionid=8DB0BE7E75F72962DB794CC4784B6C73?node=258\">problems<\/a>,  and those problems were preventing me from sorting out the issue with the comments.  So I gave up and migrated to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.movabletype.org\/\">Moveable Type<\/a>, which looks to be a vast improvement.  Installation and migration from Blogger was flawless.
